About 30 miles northeast of downtown Phoenix, you'll find Fountain Hills -- one of the fastest-growing towns in all of Arizona.
Fountain Hills was named after a giant man-made fountain that sits smack dab in the middle of town. Every hour between 9 AM and 9 PM, the fountain shoots water nearly 600 feet into the air! And, every time St. Patrick's Day rolls around, the water in the fountain is dyed green. So, it's safe to say that this town has a lot of unique flavor!
OK, so what are the homes like?
The homes for sale in Fountain Hills tend to cost a little more than homes in other parts of the Phoenix metro, but there is a wide variety to choose from. Whether you're looking for a small condo or a spacious single-family home, you'll find it here. However, we think the extra money you spend on a home here is well worth it!
Here's why:
- Fountain Hills is a very community-oriented town. There are festivals, fairs, parades, and carnivals going on year-round, so it's easy to get out, have fun, and meet new people here.
- The views are one-of-a-kind. Just to the west of town lie the McDowell Mountains, a chain of volcanic mountains. They may not erupt anymore, but they're still breathtaking to look at! In fact, the residents here love to brag that they live in a postcard!
- Everything is close by. If you're sick of sitting in gridlock to run the most basic of errands, you need to check out the homes for sale in Fountain Hills! The entire town takes up just over 18 square miles, so you'll never have to travel far to get to stores, restaurants, doctors' offices, church, or any place else you need to go.
- It's easy to enjoy the great outdoors. In addition to regional parks and natural preserves, Fountain Hills is also home to several golf courses, biking and hiking trails, and artwork that's displayed all over town.
